SIDBI organises Customer Meet under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

Themed ‘Together We Grow’ catering customers across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad: Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) Hyderabad Branch Office and Jeedimetla Branch Office organised a Customer Meet under the banner of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on 23 June 2023 at Hyderabad. A presentation on various Schemes of SIDBI, Green finance and cleaner production initiatives and onboarding of Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce) on a Business-to-Business (B2B) model were made during the meeting. With the theme of ‘Together We Grow’ SIDBI Hyderabad had been catering to various customers spread across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking on the B2B mode of ONDC platform developed with the initiative of DPIIT, Govt. of India Praveen Kumar informed that SIDBI has been playing a catalytic role for on-boarding of the ultimate beneficiaries on the platform whose products can be accessed by the customers all over and the benefits of such product sale would directly get accrued to them, without any intermediary.

Himanshu Asthana, General Manager and Regional Head, Hyderabad Office stated that SIDBI has been playing a catalytic role in making the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector more vibrant, dynamic and responsive with inclusive growth. The customers were informed that SIDBI had embarked upon and successfully implemented the end-to-end digitisation of the process flow of credit delivery in SIDBI which ensures faster delivery of the service to the customers.

Pranav Piyush, addressing the participants deliberated upon the Green climate and cleaner production initiatives of the Bank and various loans schemes pertaining to Climate Change and Green financing being provided by the Bank at a very competitive rate. Customers appreciated green financing products and non-financial products viz. The Partial Risk Sharing Facility, A Guarantee Scheme which enabled Advity Research to access the required financing despite sufficient collateral not being available.

The Bank was grateful to its customers for their continued support and positive feedback and was also informed that SIDBI had recently opened new branches at Jeedimetla and Tirupati, which would commence their operations from their premises very soon. The programme was attended by nearly 100 customers of the Bank.
